Sellers Surveys (HOME CONDITION REPORTS)

The way we buy and sell our homes is currently under review and government legislation is expected to be brought to power in the next couple of years.

It will mean that each and every person selling a residential property through an estate agent must have an inspection of their home carried out by a qualified ‘surveyor’ … … or ‘home assessor’ as we are told to refer to ourselves!

The powers-that-be are keen for the reports not to be thought of as ‘surveys’ hence we are not allowed to call ourselves ‘surveyors’.

This is part of the Home Buying Revolution as it was called in some circles. You MUST put together a Pack that includes legal searches, guarantees and warranties and the Home Condition Report, to offer to the prospective purchaser.

Our Chartered Surveyors have been carrying out surveys and valuations on residential property for over forty years between them and have amassed a great ‘local’ knowledge of property throughout the south Manchester and north Cheshire areas.

… the Trafford, Manchester, Stockport, Warrington and Macclesfield Boroughs typically (which include the Sale / Altrincham / Stretford / Urmston, Chorlton / OldTrafford / Withington / Didsbury, Cheadle / Edgeley / Bramhall, Warrington / Lymm / Birchwood and Wilmslow / Handforth / Styal areas, respectively) …
